GET INVOLVED

Share & Care welcomes students and community members who would like to volunteer and make a positive difference. Volunteers can help at our monthly meetings, support younger students with homework, assist with art and STEM activities, welcome new members, help organize events, and participate in community service projects.

Teen volunteers can also use their individual strengths—such as math, science, coding, art, music, sports, or leadership—to help and inspire others.

Volunteering with Share & Care is a great opportunity to build leadership, communication, teamwork, and community service experience while making new friends and supporting local youth.

Share & Care meets on the last Sunday of every month from 2:00–3:30 PM at Hinsdale Public Library.

Join our volunteer team and help us Share, Support, Learn, Lead & Care!

VOLUNTEERING

Share & Care welcomes parents, educators, professionals, local businesses, and community members who want to support and empower young people.

There are many ways to get involved. You can volunteer at our monthly meetings, become a guest speaker or mentor, share your professional skills, help with special events and community projects, provide educational resources, or support our youth-led activities.

By getting involved, you can help young people build confidence, develop leadership skills, make meaningful connections, and discover new opportunities.

Together, we can build a stronger, kinder, and more connected community.

Community Members

Share & Care welcomes professionals who would like to share their knowledge, experience, and skills with young people.

Professionals can get involved by becoming guest speakers, mentors, workshop leaders, career advisors, or event volunteers. You can introduce students to your career field, teach practical skills, lead educational activities, provide academic or career guidance, and inspire young people to explore future opportunities.

We welcome professionals from many fields, including education, healthcare, technology, science, business, finance, arts, engineering, law, and community service.

Your time and experience can help young people build confidence, discover their interests, develop leadership skills, and learn about future education and career paths.
